In each session, our coaches challenge players to try new skills and players are rewarded for taking chances and making mistakes. By observing players take chances and make mistakes, our coaches can zero in on what is needed and teach the specific technique each player needs to be successful the next time. Day Camp - Frequently Asked Questions

Why Are There Multiple Programs?

The Florida Soccer School is proud to be the the only ones in Florida with multiple day camp programming options.

The reason we offer multiple programs is simple; We want the best for our players! The different programs allow players to learn and compete among players of similar ability levels.  There are plenty of baby sitting services out there ... We are not one of them!

This distinction is extremely important because it allows our Elite Coaches to teach specific skills and techniques that are directly applicable to everyone in the program.

The techniques and topics we teach in our Developmental Training Camp are the foundation necessary to keep up with the information and skills taught in our Elite Attacking Camp.

At The Florida Soccer School, we take pride in building our players confidence and self-esteem.  This is very difficult to do when a player is competing with players that have more experience and a larger skillset.  We believe players should learn and grow in an environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes.

Similarly, we want all of our players to be challenged.  Our Elite Attacking Camp is a great environment for the competitive player to compete, learn and be challenged by our Elite Staff.  The information and tactics discussed at our Elite Attacking Camp are specifically designed to challenge the competitive player.

By having 3 different programs, it allows our Elite Coaches to maximize the amount of learning that takes place and it creates an environment where players of the same skill levels can learn, be challenged and grow in confidence.

Our Elite Attacking Camp is a full day program for players 9 - 16 years of age. This program is designed to challenge the competitive club or academy player.

How Do I Know If I Should Be In The Elite Attacking or Developmental Program?

The Elite Attacking Camp is strictly for Competitive players that have the technical skillset necessary to keep up with higher level attacking methods.

The Developmental Training Camp is for players still learning and perfecting key skills and techniques necessary to be comfortable and confident on the ball.
