Our main focus is on improving the player’s ability to be comfortable and confident on the ball. A strong emphasis is placed on dribbling to escape pressure and taking players on 1v1. Our players are challenged to be more creative and imaginative with the ball while in these situations.
In each session, our coaches challenge players to try new skills and players are rewarded for taking chances and making mistakes. By observing players take chances and make mistakes, our coaches can zero in on what is needed and teach the specific technique each player needs to be successful the next time. This is one of the ways our coaches help take our players’ game to the next level and what separates us from the competition. Our coaches truly care about our player’s development.
Our methodology will create an environment that taps into the creativity and imagination of our players. We believe it is extremely important that our players develop and master key techniques at a young age. The more confident and technically proficient our players become the more they will experiment and have fun with the ball. We believe confidence and enjoyment are keys to fostering creativity. At our Development Training Camp, players will enhance their technical foundation and develop the ability to escape pressure and take players on 1v1.
It is important players feel comfortable trying new skills and making mistakes. It is important players find success when trying new skills as this is an important part of learning. Our Developmental Training Camp is perfect for players still refining their skills and want to learn in a fun environment.
Training sessions will incorporate specific technical work, small group games, small-sided instructional games, and larger sided activities. Our Developmental Training Camp program will also include a number of contests and fun activities where our players will have the opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned and compete against our staff. One of the highlights of our Developmental Training Camp has always been our small-sided league that concludes in a playoff tournament at the end of the week.

The Florida Soccer School is proud to be the the only ones in Florida with multiple day camp programming options.
The reason we offer multiple programs is simple; We want the best for our players! The different programs allow players to learn and compete among players of similar ability levels. There are plenty of baby sitting services out there ... We are not one of them!
This distinction is extremely important because it allows our Elite Coaches to teach specific skills and techniques that are directly applicable to everyone in the program.
The techniques and topics we teach in our Developmental Training Camp are the foundation necessary to keep up with the information and skills taught in our Elite Attacking Camp.
At The Florida Soccer School, we take pride in building our players confidence and self-esteem. This is very difficult to do when a player is competing with players that have more experience and a larger skillset. We believe players should learn and grow in an environment where they feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes.
Similarly, we want all of our players to be challenged. Our Elite Attacking Camp is a great environment for the competitive player to compete, learn and be challenged by our Elite Staff. The information and tactics discussed at our Elite Attacking Camp are specifically designed to challenge the competitive player.
By having 3 different programs, it allows our Elite Coaches to maximize the amount of learning that takes place and it creates an environment where players of the same skill levels can learn, be challenged and grow in confidence.
Our Young Stars Program is a half day program designed for players 5 - 8 years of age that are just begining.
Our Developmental Training Camp is a full day program geared for players 7 - 14 years of age that play soccer but are still developing the technical skill sets needed to be comfortable and creative with the ball.
Our Elite Attacking Camp is a full day program for players 9 - 16 years of age. This program is designed to challenge the competitive club or academy player.
The Elite Attacking Camp is strictly for Competitive players that have the technical skillset necessary to keep up with higher level attacking methods.
The Developmental Training Camp is for players still learning and perfecting key skills and techniques necessary to be comfortable and confident on the ball.
